It's called Assisted GPS Locators and it helps locate your vehicle or pet on-demand or via your own customized safety zones.
By using a computer, you can find the exact location of something or be alerted if say, your pet goes outside of a 'boundary' you have set up around your block via email and/or text message on your cell phone.
The actual device costs $200 to $250 depending on the application and monthly fees are $10.
